thousand participants in total a very difficult day with weather conditions, the way other athletes that have thus masked 'opened the official celebrations of Puccini Carnival 2011.

Altra nota stonata sono were supplies in competition with the supply ship in constant difficulty in filling the glasses. Only cold water and hot tea ... a deadly combination for many riders and also for myself!
A bit 'from the cold and the excitement, I start strong, with a width of 5' / km. and that brought me to finish the first part of the race in 3 minutes that I set for myself. I did the first 10 km. in 50 minutes and was well, but at km. 14 ... the drama!
The fourth refueling at km. 14 was deadly, just where I stopped and I drank in rapid succession a double water-glass tea that I almost congested ... and there were 7 km. the finish line! are shared with pains in every place and in every lake, luckily at that moment was passing a small group with a pacemaker, which had a wheelbase of 5'30''and I queued to the group, reaching the milestone of Belvedere Puccini with a finish time of 1 hour 50 minutes and 44 seconds.
I deserved a medal!
BUT THE MEDALS WERE NOT PROVIDED!
There was not even the deposit bags ... THESE THINGS BE IMPROVED ORGANIZATION ... because you can not leave people to their fate at the finish sweaty and semi-frozen!
Unfortunately because of too many defections to various diseases and birthdays of relatives last minute, it is not aired on masterpiece "Lost in ... Mottafollone" ; in place but not c 'was the famous "Battleship Potemkin" Fantozzi, but a lovely lunch by the sea where I celebrated the powerfully good performance, good company and the 150 km course in January!
And the next?
All roads lead to Rome ... so the next will be the Rome - Ostia!
